A new way to make things.

We're building multi-material 3D printing technology to manufacture complex parts that conventional processes can't.

Technology

Multiple materials. One part.

Traditional manufacturing often requires separate components, assembly steps, or compromises in material properties.

Polysynth is developing a manufacturing platform that precisely combines multiple materials inside a single printed part, enabling complex internal structures, localized material properties, and new product designs.

Multi-Material Printing

Precisely place different materials within a single part, rather than restricting material changes to entire components.

02

Automated Material Switching

Our proprietary system switches and cleans between materials during the printing process, enabling complex material arrangements with minimal manual intervention.

Advanced Material Development

We're developing materials and processes that extend additive manufacturing beyond conventional photopolymer applications, including technical ceramics.

How it works

One build, many materials.

The printer cures a layer, cleans the build area, indexes to the next material, and continues. Repeating that cycle lets a single part carry different materials in different places.

  2. 02Clean

    Clear residual resin

  3. 03Switch

  4. 04Print

Cure the next layer in B

  5. Repeat per layer

Our First Application

Starting with teeth.

One of the most demanding applications of multi-material manufacturing is reproducing the appearance and structure of natural teeth.

We're applying our technology to the development of multi-colored zirconia dental restorations, with the goal of reproducing natural internal color and translucency while reducing the manual work associated with conventional crown manufacturing.

This effort is being commercialized under PolyCrowns, our dedicated dental brand.

Printed and sintered zirconia restorations are in active development. Availability and clinical use are subject to applicable regulatory requirements.

Beyond Dentistry

Built for more than teeth.

Multi-material manufacturing has applications far beyond dentistry.

The areas below are directions we're exploring with the platform. They represent future opportunity, not current products.

  1. 01

    Precision Components

Small, complex components such as ceramic gears, wear-resistant mechanical parts, and precision mechanisms.

  2. 02

    Advanced Ceramics

Complex ceramic components with controlled internal structures and different material properties.

  3. 03

    Functional Multi-Material Parts

Components that combine materials with different mechanical, electrical, or functional characteristics.

Areas of exploration

Our Approach

Rethinking manufacturing from the ground up.

At Polysynth, we're developing the hardware, software, and materials together.

This vertically integrated approach gives us control over the entire manufacturing process and enables capabilities that are difficult to achieve with conventional production methods.
